| Marshfield Youth Basketball was formed in 1975 as a town wide basketball program open to all school age boys and girls. The program offers both recreational and competitive basketball leagues. Our focus is on learning good sportsmanship, team play and, respect for others, while developing fundamental skills, and understanding the rules of the game. The program is run completely by volunteers with the goal of providing a safe and fun youth sports experience for the children in Marshfield. In 2008/2009, the MYB In-Town Recreation Program had 954 participants playing on a total of 84 teams. The Boys and Girls Travel programs combined had 216 participants on 18 different teams. Thanks to the continued support of the community and the help of our many volunteers. We are excited about the upcoming 2009/2010 season |
