Marshfield Youth Basketball was formed in 1975 as a town wide basketball program open to all school age boys and girls. The program offers both recreational and competitive basketball leagues. Our focus is on learning good sportsmanship, team play and, respect for others, while developing fundamental skills, and understanding the rules of the game.
The program is run completely by volunteers with the goal of providing a safe and fun youth sports experience for the children in Marshfield.
In 2011/2012, the MYB In-Town Recreation Program had 1032 participants playing on a total of 86 teams. The Boys and Girls Travel programs combined had 240 participants on 20 different teams.
Thanks to the continued support of the community and the help of our many volunteers. We are looking forward to the 2012/2013 season.

SWISH Basketball Camp
posted 3/25/2012 by Marshfield Youth Basketball
Hello MYB Families,
We hope you all enjoyed your basketball experience this year. We encourage players to continue to play basketball and work on their skills and sportsmanship in the off-season. There is a high quality basketball camp right here in Marshfield called SWISH Basketball Camp for Girls in Grades 3 to 8 and for Boys in Grades 4 to 8. The camp is directed by our Marshfield High School Girls Basketball Coaches Rick Wheaton and Rick Fredericks along with Mount Ida College Coach Rico Cabral. The camp is staffed by an impressive list of coaches and takes place July 9th through 13th at Marshfield High School, Furnace Brook Middle School and Martinson Elementary School.
A brochure is available on the Marshfield Youth Basketball website – click here to download the SWISH form.
For additional camp information, please call the camp phone number (508) 725-7724.
Have a great summer.
