Evaluation sessions are held before the season starts usually in early
November. The objective of the evaluation is to be able to structure teams as evenly as possible. This attempt at parity goes a long way to insure that the games on Saturdays are fun for everyone.
The players, after some simple drills and short scrimmages, are rated according to their size, experience, and skill levels. Those ratings are combined with the evaluations from their prior years coach. Final ratiings are assigned, and even teams are set up with players of assorted ratings.
The evaluations are not TRYOUTS and are just as much fun as the rest of the season.
The evaluations are important to the success of the leagues so every effort should be made to attend. If a player is unable to attend evaluations they will be assigned to a team using the information that is available from the prior year as well as this year's registration forms.
